Scott Gibbs, CPM, Principal Broker

Scott Gibbs is the founder of Investors Real Estate Solutions, LLC (IRES). Based in Bend, Oregon with an office in Eugene, IRES is a full-service real estate brokerage company serving the needs of small to mid-sized commercial investment property owners.

Prior to co-founding Lowes Property Management in 2007, Scott spent 16 years as a senior property manager with G Group, LLC, a private Asset Management company based in Eugene, Oregon. During his tenure at G Group Scott was responsible for the operational and fiscal performance of his portfolio, tenant retention and brokerage relations.

Since 2008 Scott has specialized in the management and disposition of troubled assets, and has functioned as a court-appointed Receiver for several lending institutions including Park National Bank, US Bank, Home Federal Bank, and Washington Federal Bank.

With the beginning of the economic downturn in 2008 Scott participated in several sale transactions that include properties in Bend, Redmond, Eugene, and Springfield, and several asset classes, among them absolute net retail (Walgreens), Multi-Family (24-Unit Apartment Complex), Urban Street Retail, Strip Retail, Mixed Use, Showroom/Warehouse, Industrial and Mini-Storage Facility.

As the economy in general and the commercial real estate sector in particular has improved, Scott has, in addition to property management, participated in the acquisition, disposition, and re-positioning of assets as a result of current favorable climates for commercial real estate investment.

Scott earned a bachelors degree from the University of Oregon. He is a licensed Principal Broker in the state of Oregon and holds a Certified Property Manager designation (CPM) from the Institute of Real Estate Management.
